Benjamin A. Janney

Dr. Janney is passionate about high-quality science and environmental education, especially in childhood learners. He believes that all people have a responsibility to protect and sustain the well-being of the natural world for present and future generations and that such mindsets must be cultivated through a well-rounded and morally responsible education.

He teaches Elementary Science Methods, and his scholarship focuses on best practice teaching that supports prospective educators in responsible and highly effective science instruction.

Outside the classroom, he enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and wildlife photography across Southern Utah.
