Dr. RubyDawn Lyman

Dr. RubyDawn Lyman has a PhD in Learning Sciences and Educational Psychology from the University of Washington, an MAT from Pacific University, an MA in Political Science from the University of Utah, and a BA in International Relations from BYU. She is a member of the Elementary Education Department at Utah Tech University. She loves to teach Educational Psychology, Social Studies Methods, and Differentiation courses while also supervising pre-service teachers in their placements. Dr. Lyman’s research interests include gifted and twice exceptional education, teacher education, and various social studies topics. When she isn’t on campus, Dr. Lyman loves to exercise, read, travel, and spend time with her husband, sons, and daughters-in-law.
